If you would like to become a member of the Club, complete the membership application form below.

Once you have submitted the application form come along to a Wednesday afternoon Club meeting (4.00pm, every Wednesday at the club house) and meet the members. Once accepted as a member you will be required to sign and date you application (which will have been printed out for you).

We thank you for joining or considering joining our Club, as a member of our club you have access to special benefits which are financial, social and educational.

The Club’s financial year is October to September. As a current financial member, you are entitled to attend the Christmas and Trophy Presentation Dinner held in November or December. 

Members are encouraged to purchase a club shirt with their first name on it.

Member can receive a 10% discount from a range of businesses and retailers across Hervey Bay. The Club will soon offer members with a card that they can present to participating businesses and retailers. 

Members who fish in the monthly fishing competition can win trophies and prizes in various categories, which are presented at the Christmas and Trophy Presentation Night in November or December.

Non – Financial Benefits

The Club will continue to create opportunities for members to get active, as this is what the Club is all about.  Trips away, club competitions, tag-alongs, education evenings, social events, fund raising and community engagement (e.g. the Junior Whiting Competition) are core.  

The Club will continue to improve our current events as well as seek new activities for members to participate in.

The Club is aiming to diversify its membership base, creating an environment where juniors, women and non-fishing partners want to and feel comfortable getting involved in Club activities. The Club is a comfortable and welcoming association where everyone is welcome to socialise and get active. 

Members may gain access to the knowledge of anglers who have fished the local area for many years and may be able to assist with their boat set-up.

Members, with the permission of the Committee may use our Clubs House and BBQ Trailer for private functions.   

The Committee welcomes you as a member of the Club and hopes that you derive as much enjoyment as they have had over the past years.
